The dissertation is devoted to research of the problem of future borderguard officers readiness for physical self-perfection. The essence of readiness of future border guard officers for physical self-perfection as professionally important feature, its contents and structure which include motivation-personal, cognitive-informative and operation-active components are researched. The criteria and indices of this notion have been defined, its levels and state of future borderguard officers readiness formation for physical self-perfection have been characterized. The program and pedagogical conditions of preparation for physical self-perfection have also been grounded and experimentally tested. As a result of this reaserch the methodological recommendations for the faculty staff on future borderguard officers preparation for physical self-perfection have been developed.
