Analyzes the position and role of Ukraine in the context of the relations between East and West in the reflection of the national print media. The analysis sources concluded: in the eyes of western European politicians and in Ukrainian political discourse so far, unfortunately, is defined geopolitical "buffer" context and traditional economic secondariness.
