Essay

The thesis is devoted to the results of studies of evaluation of the main elements of resource-saving technologies of fattening bulls Holstein, Ukrainian Black Pied and Ukrainian Red Pied dairy breeds in a large farm. It is found that the loose housing in the comfortable living conditions meets the needs of animals and is characterized by high live weight of bulls at different periods of feeding. It is proved that the application of such a resource-saving elements as the reduction of raw material supplies (feeding calves with remains generally mixed diet of cows) does not reduce the intensity of growth. Over the entire period of fattening the daily gain of different breed bulls of experimental groups was 995,0-1016,2 g and the control was of 970,3-1033,8 g. Holstein bulls and Ukrainian Red Pied dairy breed experimental groups had the advantage of live weight compared with the control group peers. They are of high live weight when used at the age of 13 months, which is to 443,3 kg and 434,3 kg, respectively. According to most indicators of meat productivity evaluation there were no significant advantages found between the groups after slaughter of bulls. The output of slaughter bulls of investigated control and experimental group breeds, respectively, was 54,7-56,7% and 55,4-56,9%. The effectiveness of the use of residues of general mixed diet of lactating cows with adding concentrates for feeding calves of specialized dairy breeds contributes to the development of high meat productivity.
