Essay

The thesis comprehensively investigated the international legal regime of security for exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes. It analyzed the legal nature, disclosed the concept and content of respective regime, provided its general characteristics and outlined main directions for its capacity-building. The attention has been paid to the terminology used in the examined field, the author's definition of security of exploration and use of outer space was given, there was also investigated its relationship with related concepts of "space security", "security of outer space environment", "security of space activities".
