Essay

The thesis is concerned with the theoretical substantiation of teacher mentoring in modern psychology and pedagogy, the assessment of its relevance and the extant body of research examining the problem. The study investigates prevalent scholarly approaches to the definition of teacher mentoring and provides its generalized definition as a dynamic system of collaborative partnership between an experienced teacher (mentor) and a novice teacher (mentee) facilitating the mentee's induction and contributing to their mutual professional development.
