Essay

The thesis research is devoted to the problem related to psychological particularities of a personality's self-awareness. On the basis of generalization of existing approaches in modern psychology the personality's self-awareness is defined as the process and the result, where the focus of an actor's attention is put from the three simultaneously existing worlds to his inner world that has a semantic dynamic community awareness (from irrespective perception of his own existence to the ability to independently modify, evaluate, analyze their mental processes) and has manifested in the form of feelings, thoughts and experiences. Levels of self-awareness according to their dynamics are set depending on its complexity, namely, from simple awareness of existence to the most complex: awareness of body, space, time, identity and freedom. There has been described the specific nature of the process of self-awareness of personality that gains the future proficiency of artistic profile. The most common forms of individual self-awareness are self-esteem, positive thoughts, thoughts of personal qualities, positive and intelligent feelings. Recommendations for updating and development of a personality's self-awareness are expressed.
