Krysiuk R. International investments under conditions of cyclic economic development

This thesis presents the comprehensive analysis of the international investment in context of the cyclic economic development, and the justification of the components of its multi-level regulation. This thesis generalizes the theories of the cyclic economic development and demonstrates the impact of globalization on the formation of conditions of the permanent crisis and turbulence. The scope and dynamics of the international investment are analyzed, the impact of the crisis phenomena, processes and controlling means on such investment are detected and evaluated. The approaches to the formation of the corporate investment behavior in times of the turbulence are improved with aid of the flexible operational system of the sectoral and geographical priority of the TNC's investment to promote the sustainable business development in process of transition to the creating economy. The prognostic evaluation of the variable positioning of TNCs in the global economic system, along with the nation-states and civil society actors is presented. The model of formation of the administrative-regulatory conditions for the effective international investment in the volatile global environment, based on the system of the anti-recessionary and counter-cyclical regulatory measures, control and regulation of the international investment processes is substantiated. The economic and mathematical tools for the monitoring of the international investment position of the state are offered, the indicators of the functional relationship between GDP and the international investment position of Ukraine as a whole and by its structural elements are calculated.
