The main theoretical and methodological provisions for market entering strategies of Ukrainian companies on the EU solid biofuels market are improved in the scientific research. The study revealed strategies of entrance to international markets in case of globalization. The theoretical frame work is based on justifying and delineating the concept of 'forms of entrance to foreign markets' and 'market entering strategies to the international market'. The classification of modern strategies of entrance to external markets (traditional strategies and strategy of economic expansion) and the model of market entry strategy of Ukrainian manufacturers to international markets are delivered. Main features of the strategy of economic expansion and a matrix of economic expansion are developed. The study identified main trends on the EU solid biofuels market for Ukrainian companies including the acceleration of energy progress and international cooperation in the energy sector; market capacity growth of renewables; growth of investment in the sector; strengthen public policy in favor of EU environmental finding alternative modern energy; the emergence of new sources of funding and regulatory institutions sector; increase the value of renewable energy; enhance energy independence countries; the ability to use the advantages of geographic location; uncertainty in energy saving methods and others. The main risks for Ukrainian companies during the entering the EU market are identified including the discrepancy of Ukrainian production to quality standards of the EU, changes in exchange rates, the failure of intermediaries contracts, fluctuations in the price of oil and gas, lack of information on trends in the EU market.
