Marchenko T. The international innovation programs as a factor of Ukraine's integration into the EU

Object - processes of the involvement of Ukraine in the international scientific and technical integration in the context of its European choice. Purpose - to determine the theoretical foundations of international innovation programs in the context of economic development and improving competitiveness of the country and formation of practical recommendations regarding improving the innovation potential of Ukraine on this basis, including through participation in innovative European programs. Methods - historical and logical method, systematic method; qualitative and quantitative comparison; structural and factor analysis; generalization; factual analysis; statistical methods. Results - the role of international innovation programs in the innovative development has been theoretically proved and concrete recommendations on Ukraine's participation in international innovation programs have been made taking into account the factor of European integration and increasing its innovation capabilities on this basis. Novelty - crucial role of international innovation programs in the formation and implementation of European integration strategy of Ukraine has been proved; the approaches to the definition of "innovative program", which includes a set of innovative and investment projects agreed in terms of their performance, performers, resources, volumes and sources of financing, which provides an effective solution of problems on creation and implementation of innovation and includes analytical and research stages, have been improved; the approaches to the development of priority actions at the national, regional and entrepreneurial levels for efficient stimulating enterprises to active research and scientific and technological capacity building; systematization of participants of scientific and technological areas taking into account international partners, whose main aim is to obtain results of scientific and technological developments in various scientific areas and their introduction to the economy of Ukraine, has been presented; the value of European innovation programs (including the EU Framework Programmes for Research and Technological Development) and building national infrastructure of their implementation to deepen their scientific-technical integration processes of Ukraine into the EU, has been theoretically proved; the basic reasons for the attractiveness of European innovation program for Ukraine, as well as risks at the individual, institutional level and at the level of labor collectives associated with the implementation of EU policy in the field of science in Ukraine, and on this basis development the concept of adapting to local practices have been singled out.
