Essay

Object of study: the processes of international transport networks development. Aim: deepening the theoretical and methodological grounds of the international transport networks study in the context of globalization, identification of the European aviation network development and working out scientific and practical recommendations for Ukraine's integration into European airspace and joining the EU aviation network. Methods: method of theoretical generalization, induction and deduction, system analysis and synthesis, abstraction, historical, logical, statistical, economic and mathematical analysis. Scientific novelty: theoretical and methodological bases of the international transport networks research are developed; scientific and methodical approach to the assessment of the status and determinants of the EU and the world aviation networks is offered; stages of the European aviation network formation and development are identified; scientific and methodical approach to the development of European aviation network is improved; economic advisability of international airline hub creation in central part of Ukraine is grounded; conceptual directions of Ukraine's aviation network integration into the European one are improved. The research results are implemented in practical activities of the Economic Department of the executive committee of Kryvyi Rih City Council, Mariupol Branch of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce, JSC "Elektromashproservis", LLC "Information Technology", LLC "Promliha", in the educational process of the Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky. Sphere of usage: interdisciplinary.
