Zayats O. Institutionalization of convergent processes in regional trade and economic associations.

The thesis analyzes conceptual approaches, prevailing trends and characteristics of development of regional trade unions as institutional framework for international convergent processes, preconditions and specific formation of the dialectical relationship of regional trade associations and modern converged institutions, heterogeneous features of regional economic integration models. The developed approach allows compiling and classifying integration trade groups. It is proved that regionalization makes for creation of big unified trade-economic spaces in srtucture of world economy, strengthens further segmentation of world market and positions it as tendence to the globalization. The features of the institutional mechanism of convergence cooperation in regional trade associations for the areas of international trade were identified and described. Format and limits of convergence of government and market regulatory institutions in regional trade associations in the context of WTO modern politics on regional trade blocs were defined. Author identified institutional and functional factors of asymmetric regional trade unions in the transition from autonomous to conventionally-process model of trade policy. Strategic approaches to the transformation of modern mechanism of regulation of regional trade agreements was generalized. Author determined and found directions of institutional diversification of foreign relations of Ukraine and implementation of the EU trade policy instruments in internal practice, optimization level of Ukraine's participation in regional trade associations was estimated. The authors' model, unlike existing, allows assessing the attractiveness of Ukraine for regional trade associations on the basis of a comprehensive consideration of such factors as growth rate, diversity of merchandise exports and imports, as well as the concentration of exports and imports in the context of countries which form the relevant associations.
