Kotenko V. The Settlement of Chersonesos Chora Maslyny in Northwest Taurica.

The dissertation studies Hellenistic Maslyny settlement, located at the northern frontier of Chersonesos polis. Based on the historiographical data there are presented history of research and identified the issues related to its study. The detailed analysis of the main aspects of the material culture, belonged to the inhabitants - buildings and ceramic deposit - were under the research. Basing on this, it was determined that the ancient farmsteads with towers were built in Maslyny according to the principles of Chersonesos urban structure. Analysis of the mass ceramic materials allowed to identify the main forms of pottery typical of extra-urban Hellenistic settlements of Chersonesos polis, and to propose their local typology. Taurian and Late Scythian cultural elements in material culture of Maslyny settlement were also submitted. As a result, it was stressed that the settlement was an important point in the structure of Chersonesos chora.
