Gabelkova O. Students personal characteristics disposed to behavioral disorders in the sphere of health

The object of the study: disorders of health-preserving behavior. The purpose of the work: to determine students personal characteristics, disposed to behavioral disorders in the sphere of health. Methods: theoretical (analysis of scientific sources on a theme of research), empirical (method of diaries, subjective scaling, testing, analysis of variability of an intimate rhythm) and mathematic-statistical. Scientific novelty: it is established that disorders of health-preserving behavior are connected with depressed volitional self-control, low prognostic capacity, high level of primativeness, mechanisms of psychological protection such as substitution, regression and suppression, high expressiveness of research instinct. Practical importance: it is worked out psychodiagnostic method "Healthy Behavior Disposition Inquirer", which measures eight kinds of disorders of health-preserving behavior and general common parameter; the psychometrical characteristic of a technique is given complete; the technique of B. Rine "Wheel of life", which reveals a self-estimation of health on eight spheres of its display, is modified. The effect of the introduction is high. The areas of use: higher education institutions, psychological services.
