Fedortsova O. Formation of Cultural Competence of Future Power Engineers in the Study of Humanities

The thesis is devoted to research the problems of formation of cultural competence of power engineers. It was found leading scientific approaches to this problem. Grounded categorial-conceptual apparatus aspects of the research, namely the category of "culture", "competency", "competence", "cultural competence", "cultural competence of power engineers." It is outlined pedagogical conditions. The role and functions of the humanities in shaping the cultural competence of Power Engineers are selected. The main components are outlined and criteria of their formation are justified. Criteria and indicators for assessing the level of cultural competence of Future Power Engineers are done. Scientifically substantiated and tested the model and technology of cultural competence of Power Engineers in the study of humanities. Experimental results showed significant increase in the level of cultural competence of future professionals.
