Myakota O. International legal title of Ukrainian state border.

The thesis determines international legal grounds and features of international legal regulation of the Ukrainian state border with the borders of the neighboring states (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Belarus and the Russian Federation) including the specifics of border regime, delimitation, demarcation, redemarcation and international legal regulation of the Ukrainian state border tripoints with the borders of the neighboring states. The paper defines the features of maritime space delimitation of Ukraine as a coastal state, such as internal waters, territorial sea, contiguous zone, exclusive economic zone and continental shelf. Historical (first of all international legal) grounds for formation of the modern Ukrainian state borders were determined as well (1917-1991). The thesis summarizes the legal (doctrinal) positions of the international legal status of the Ukrainian land, sea borders, air borders and subsurface borders.
