Essay

The dissertation presents results of a study of 120 patients with acute iliofemoral venous thrombosis. The work proved efficiency of catheter-directed thrombolysis in patients with acute iliofemoral venous thrombosis duration of 14 days without an increased risk of complications. The study revealed a number of new hemostatic, diagnostic criteria defined prognostic evaluation of rethrombosis and bleeding complications, the validity of the use of catheter-directed thrombolysis. Methods for catheter-directed thrombolysis in acute iliofemoral venous thrombosis depending on the "age" of thrombotic masses. Proposed and implemented new access to the popliteal vein catheterization through the saphena to optimize catheter-directed thrombolysis. Catheter-directed thrombolysis proved high efficiency in the treatment of acute iliofemoral venous thrombosis duration to 14 days on the basis of the analysis the next analysis of treatment outcomes of patients. Unidirectional changes found in the walls of thrombosed veins in patients with acute iliofemoral venous thrombosis - the destruction of internal and external elastic membrane, which intensified with the "age" of thrombotic masses, а tissue hypoxia and increased leukocyte aggression over time and cause tissue damage, edema, lipodermatosklerosis and trophic ulcers in the distal extremity.
