Hlazunov M. Formation of English writing competence of future teachers by means of web-technologies

The thesis focuses on the problem of teaching English writing to the first year students of foreign language departments by means of web-technologies. The research provides theoretical substantiation and practical elaboration of the methodology of teaching English writing to students by means of web-technologies.The historical and pedagogical prerequisites of teaching English writing by means of web-technologies have been researched.The aim and the content of teaching have been selected. The stages of teaching have been determined, the set of exercises and the teaching model have been created. The criteria for writing assessment were specified.The effectiveness of the suggested methodology has been verified and confirmed during the experimental teaching. Methodological recommendations on how to organize teaching English writing to future teachers by means of web-technologies have been developed and applied in practice in three higher educational establishments of Ukraine.
