Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research the process of understanding by students - future dentists the nonstandard dental problems. It was carried out generalization of basic approaches in foreign and domestic scientific literature to study the phenomenon of understanding. It was found psychological content of the understanding nonstandard dental problems by analyzing its cognitive, operational and regulatory-personal components. Has been proven conditionality of its course by subjective mental strategies (analogs, reconstruction, combining, mixed strategies), which act as a regulator of thinking of search operations in general, and the process of understanding the task, in particular. In the process of understanding the nonstandard dental problems was highlighted a number of micro stages and was confirmed the hypothesis that each micro stage determines the state of understanding of the task and a different subjective significance. Differences of understanding process were illustrated by comparative analysis of its course in different dental experience of participants of experimental investigation (students, medical interns, practitioner) and in different experimental conditions (in solving problems with various complications). It was proved that the inclusion in the training of future dentists of special methodical means of activation of understanding process will improve its content, which will help to improve the quality of vocational training.
