Lanskykh O. Philosophical principles of state language policy in Ukrainian education

The thesis provides a philosophical analysis of the nature, essence, current state and tendencies of the state language policy at the complex development problem of Ukrainian education. The state language policy was conceptualized. It is understood as activity of the state, its institutions and officials, which aims to regulate relations between individuals to maintain or change a certain state of linguistic regime. The language regime is defined as a current linguistic situation in a particular country or region which includes a set of formal and non-formal languages and dialects, as well as legal and social norms that govern their use. The bilateral dependence of educational policy and language policy is proved.
