The aim is to develop a method of automated engineering and geodetic deformation monitoring of complex engineering structures in the aspect of improving the accuracy, efficiency and safe operation. The object of research is system of automated engineering and geodetic control of deformations of structures of complex engineering structures. Methods: the method of least squares, probability theory, the theory of optical instruments, set theory and the theory of geodetic measurement errors. This thesis developed a method of automated engineering and geodetic deformation monitoring of complex engineering structures, which is based on the electro-optical range system in a double photoelectric chain consisting of a two-channel optical-electronic devices. This method allows to exercise the engineering and geodetic control of spatial position of the construction elements during the operation, to take measurement in automatic mode of the deformation of repositioning structures and warn about the approaching damage in real time with a precise definition of section for a rapid response. The method of calculation accuracy of the deformation marks coordinates and deformations themselves by DPEC devices is worked out. The methodology of light rangefinder precision distance measurements for engineering and geodetic control structures and technological equipment of complex structures are developed. The experimental researches of DPEC device accuracy are done. The concept of inbuilt automated engineering and geodetic control of structures deformations is proposed, its development prospects are outlined.
