Lashkul V. Future Veterinary Medicine Doctors' Professional and Ethical Competence Forming

The thesis deals with the problems of future Veterinary Medicine Doctors' Professional and Ethical Competence Forming. The content and the component structure of future veterinary medicine doctors' professional and ethical competence are specified. The criteria, indicators and levels of future veterinary medicine doctors' professional and ethical competence are characterized. The pedagogical conditions of future veterinary medicine doctors' professional and ethical competence forming are theoretically grounded and experimentally checked. Among them are: forming students' conscious attitude to professional and ethical values and qualities; the high level of knowledge in the sphere of professional ethics of teachers', who are involved in future veterinary medicine doctors' training; using the potential of additional forms of teaching (additional courses, special seminars, research groups, studios); using innovative teaching methods (simulation, case-study, problem learning); providing methodical support of future veterinary medicine doctors' professional and ethical training). The model, which is idealized reproduction of future veterinarians' professional and ethical training mechanisms, is worked out. Recommendations to enhance future veterinary medicine doctors' professional and ethical competence forming are created.
