The thesis is devoted to consideration of psychological content and psychological structure of managerial abilities of leaders of Law enforcement bodies of Ukraine. The new approaches to construction of the program of development of managerial abilities of Police leaders, in which development of these abilities and personality is examined as overall process, is suggested as well. The program can be used by practical psychologists with the purpose of improvement of basic components of managerial abilities of leaders Law enforcement bodies of Ukraine: intellect, communicative features, leader potential and motivation.
