Object - professional socialization of the personality; methods - theoretical (analysis, systematization, generalization), empirical (questioning, testing, content analysis, psychology and pedagogical experiment), mathematical methods of statistical data processing; novelty - typological features of social-adaptive, motivational-valuable and professional-reflexive components of professional socialization are for the first time revealed; and also the factorial structure of a motivational and valuable component which includes components of material and spiritual motivation, creative requirements, requirements of prestige and self-development, motivation of private life, social motives, motivations of achievement, external motives is defined; idea of age features of professional socialization by identification of its age dynamics at students of engineering specialties is expanded; means of psychological maintenance of training of students of engineering specialties by creation of the developing program based on the accounting of psychology and pedagogical conditions of formation of professional socialization are gained further development; ideas of features of professional socialization of students by creation of theoretical model of its psychological structure are gained further development; results - psychology and pedagogical conditions of formation of professional socialization of students of engineering specialties are defined; the program of realization of psychology and pedagogical conditions which can be applied in educational process of students of engineering specialties is created; area - psychology.
