Object - coping-behavior of students which is shown in estimation situations; methods - theoretical (systematization and generalization), empirical (testing, the content analysis, psychological and pedagogical experiment), mathematical-statistical methods of data processing; novelty - internal (motivation of achievement), situational (estimation of knowledge as stressor) and interactive (dominating coping-strategy) factors of overcoming by students of emotional complications which arise in the course of educational activity in higher education institution are for the first time allocated as the interacting components of complete regulatory system; and also coping-strategy of students with different degrees of formation of motivation of achievement of success and motivation of avoiding of failure in an examination stress situation are revealed: the high and moderate motivation of achievement of success actualizes self-checking and planning of a solution, and motivation of avoiding of failure - avoiding of a problem; scientific ideas of features of interrelation of motivation of achievement of success, and also motivation of avoiding of failure with preferences of students in the choice of adaptive, conditionally adaptive and not adaptive koping-mechanisms in emotionally intense situations of educational activity are deepened; and also about specifics of manifestation of informative activity, alarm and negative emotional experiences at a stress of estimation of knowledge at students with high and to moderate aspirations to success, and also at students with aspiration to avoid failure; and also about specifics of an image of examination as main form of knowledge testing in higher education institution which develops in mentality of students with high and to moderate aspirations to success, and also at students with aspiration to avoid failure; the composition and structure of emotions which are endured in intense situations of educational activity in higher education institution by the students focused on achievement of success and avoidance of failure is specified; ideas of opportunities of the correcting influences and scales of adaptive changes which can happen in the personality and activity of students under the influence of the correctional developing program directed to optimization of coping-behavior in situations of estimation of knowledge in higher education institution are gained further development; results - the correctional developing program which is directed to improvement of psychological mechanisms of self-control of mental conditions of students in examination situations is developed; provisions of work and practical developments can be applied in practice of psychological service of the higher school; area - psychology.
