Dissertation deals with the scientific task of defining, grounding and experimental testing the pedagogical conditions that promote the future clothes designers' creative abilities developing by means of project technologies. Taxonomy of creative abilities by O. Luk is adapted to clothes designers' professional activity; the creative abilities of future clothes designers are classified according to the frequency of displaying on the stages of new forms of clothes creating and according to the types of professional activity. Criteria and indicators of future clothes designers' creative abilities developing are defined and integral levels of their development are characterized. The pedagogical conditions of future clothes designers' creative abilities developing by means of project technologies are offered taking into account the project character of clothes designers' professional activity and two-component character of their professional creativity (artistic and engineering) as well as the didactics possibilities of project technologies. The principles of content and structure of educational-creative project tasks constructing taking into account the peculiarities of professional disciplines of design education are determined. The content-structural model of future clothes designers' creative abilities developing represents the mechanism of optimizing the process of creative abilities development by means of project technologies.
