Malykhina M. Circus art in the 20-30-s of Ukraine

Dissertation is devoted to standing the peculiarities of development in circus arts 20-30-s in Ukraine. For the first time in Ukrainian art history examined the formation of a circus art of Ukraine in modern scientific discourse; highlighted the basic directions of theoretical thought in the field of circus arts; the evolution of a circus arts from the origin to the early twentieth century; identified the creative contribution of the Ukrainian artists in the development of the national circus affairs; outlined the most typical artistic trends that emergent in the prominent historical stage and remained dominant for the national circus for a long time. On the basic of archival documents, for the first time introduces in the science, reproduced an objective consistent development of the history in the circus of Ukraine, its origins and formation of the organization under the leadership of the State Circus Administration (1933), becoming as an independent artistic field, obtain specific artistic means, in particular the establishment manege image.
