Essay

The object of the study: self-awareness of children with behavior disorders. The purpose of the work: to develop a system of psychological correction of the behavior of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, based on the identified features of their self-awareness. Methods: theoretical – analysis and generalization of scientific data, theoretical modeling; empirical – the study of the medical records, the use and modification of existing techniques, developing their own methodologies, questionnaires; statistical. Scientific novelty: this dissertation discusses the features of consciousness in regard to children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; structural-dynamic model of self-awareness of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder consists of "Self-concept" and physical, affective, cognitive and behavioral components; the relationship between these components is carried out by means of reflection and anticipation; it has been revealed that children have a low level of reflection, goal-setting difficulties, and unstable self-esteem. Practical importance: results of this work are important for the treatment of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and suggest that specific treatment programs should include resource modules focused on the development of skills in analyzing and planning their actions, and the harmonization of interpersonal relations in the micro social environment. The effect of the introduction is high. The areas of use: higher education institutions.
