Essay

The thesis is devoted to assessing the intake of zinc and copper from foodstuff for population of Ukraine. During the experimental study was determined the actual quantity of zinc and copper in 160 kinds of foodstuff, which were found on present-day Ukrainian market. During study was made hygienic assessment of zinc and copper intake from recommended products, from tentative diet for adults, and from approximate two-weeks diet for children; investigated and analyzed the actual amount of zinc and copper in food cooked at kindergartens in Kyiv. To determine daily intake of zinc and copper for adults from Kyiv were made some tests with their hair. In this work was explained the necessity of adding information to referential tables about amounts of zinc and copper contained in each product.
