Malysheva Y. The Targeted Sanctions and their application by the UN Security Council

The Dissertation is devoted to an issue of the application of the targeted sanctions by the United Nations Security Council, which is new and scantily explored in the science of the international law, in the context of the formation of this concept, the study of its legal content, as well as design features and actions of the targeted coercive measures and their effectiveness. The study reveals the legal basis for the selective and differential application of sanctions, defines the legal grounds for refusal on the applying of the certain sanction prohibitions and restrictions by the UN Security Council and the introduction exclusively of the targeted coercive measures.
