Essay

Due to the results obtained during a theoretical analysis of scientific-pedagogical literature we have concluded that a study of the problem of school youth health saving is based on competency-based, activity-based, axiological, integrative and interdisciplinary approaches. Health as a phenomenon has been theoretically justified within such fields as medicine, philosophy, psychology, sociology, valeology, etc. To generalize characteristics of the notion of health presented in scientific literature one can distinguish four types of health, namely, physical, mental, social and spiritual. It has been determined that main goal of European education is to form key competences of school youth, necessary for efficient participation in social life.
