Essay

The thesis has been dedicated to the complex research of Ludwik Ehrlich's views on international law. The author has reviewed not only main events of his life, but also scientific heritage of Ehrlich distinguishing the period of scholar's establishment (1889-1923), the Lviv period (1923-1939) and the Krakow period (1940-1968). Much attention has been paid to his textbook on international law, considered to be one of the most influential in the Polish science of international law.
