Essay

The thesis presents a comprehensive and comparative analysis of geopolitical, security, military and political, trade and economic processes and the factors that led to the formation of different levels of strategic partnership relations between the U.S. and states of East Asia - Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and also features of the U.S. settlement of conflict international political issues with China and North Korea. This has allowed find out the reason of formation and optimization of regional and global policy of the United States in East Asia in the post-bipolar epoch. Analyzed the vectors' evolution of US foreign policy priorities in the Asia-Pacific region and outlined the problems of regional security in East Asia and the best ways to solve them. Studied political planes of collision United States foreign policy interests and regional actors in Asia, particularly in the American-Chinese and American-North Korean relations, examined trends and prospects projected of intensification of allied relations between the United States and Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. The author argues that rapidly growing processes of formation of the new Chinese pole strength, gaining the status of nuclear and missile North Korea, geopolitical ambitions of Japan and South Korea, as well as the urgent need to resolve the Taiwan problem can in the short to medium term not only significantly change the geopolitical and geostrategic landscape of the region, but also to mount a serious challenge the dominance of global politics USA. Gradually, the influence of the United States as a superpower capable of monopoly control over developments and processes in the world, significantly weakened. Recognizing the undeniable power of the United States and potential global power, one can not ignore the relative decrease in their role as a world leader.
