Object of research - the technological process of manufacturing of three-cone rock bits. The aim of this work was to develop and explore technological methods to improve manufacturing quality of three-cone rock bits. Scientific novelty - the influence of physical-mechanical and technological parameters of rock bit steels on their tendency to the occurrence of deformations and curvatures of mechanically and thermally treated parts of bits are established. Practical implications - the technologies of processing of parts bits and the parameters of the hole shaping for cutters carbide inserts are developed. The degree of implementation carried out at LTD " UniDrillTech ". The application field is the machine building.
