Melnyk M. Establishment and development of student sport of Ukraine in the XXI century.

Object- social activities of student's sport; aim- to prove scientifically the tendencies of student's sports development in Ukraine in the XXI century based on determining the structure, content and trends of its development; methods: theoretical analysis and synthesis, analysis of documentary materials, poll method, method of expert evaluation, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: a set of reasonably promising directions of short- and long-term development of student sports of Ukraine have been justified in the twentieth century; for the first time it has been defined the structure and content of student sport in Ukraine and justified differences of student-athletes training system in higher educational institutions of Ukraine; it has been identified tendencies of student's sports of Ukraine in the XXI century (2000-2015 years); results: theoretical and empirical justification of student's sports system in Ukraine taken into consideration the socio-economic development factors in the country. The results of the study are introduced into the activity of Physical Education and Sport Committee in Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, educational process of Lviv State University of Physical Culture at "Bachelor" and "Specialist" level.
