Essay

The dissertation is the first scientific study of the interiors of the Ukrainian restaurants of the XXth - early XXIth century. The paper presents the development of the interior design of the restaurants, ranging from the modern era to the present day. The basic varieties of the functional types of the institutions, with the inherent features of their creation, zoning and settlement in the accordance with belonging to a particular class of the business are illuminated. The development of the domestic restaurant catering of the XXth - beginning of the XXIth century in the chronological order is clarified.
