Essay

Research object was cryopreserved cord blood serum (CCBS) and its impact to local and systemic manifestations of wound process after skin cryodestruction. The aim was to determine the effect of CCBS on wound healing after cryodestruction. Methods were as follows: clinical, bacteriological, clinical laboratory, biochemical, morphological, statistical. Results. The data obtained suggest a positive effect of CCBS on the course of wound process after skin cryodestruction which is expressed in a decrease in systemic manifestations of inflammation, reduction in the level of tissue destruction markers in blood serum and skin, reducing the number of microorganisms in wounds, stirgbrmulating the formation and maturation of connective tissue. It has been shown that therapeutic efficiency of CCBS is higher than the "placenta extract" drug one. Novelty. The CCBS applicability was for the first time proven in treating wounds after cryodestruction. For the first time it has been found that the introduction of CCBS increases the rate of wound healing, reduces the number of microorganisms in them, decreases the level of markers of inflammation and destruction of the tissues in serum and skin, reduces the severity of pathological manifestations in wounds. The use of CCBS after cryodestruction was for the first time shown to promote the formation and maturation of connective tissue, accelerates the replacement of collagen type III to type I collagen.
