Object - the process of professional training of future teachers of Humanities at higher educational establishments; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested technology of training future teachers of Humanities to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities on the level of students' professional readiness to fulfill it; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to define the structural components of readiness of future teachers of Humanities to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities; the essence of students' project-based learning and cognitive activities as well as the essence of readiness of future teachers to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities are specified; the criteria and indices of the levels of future teachers' readiness to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning are singled out; forms and methods of training future teachers of Humanities to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities have acquired further study; results - the technology of training future teachers of Humanities to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities has been experimentally tested and is recommended for the implementation in the process of professional training of future teachers at higher educational establishments. The theoretical ideas and practical data of the research will be helpful to those engaged in teacher training process during class and out of class teaching activities, they will facilitate the process of training students for their future professional activity, they will be of use to those working at course, diploma, and Master degree papers. The materials od the research will be valuable for those who are engaged in the system of teachers' professional development; field - pedagogy.
