Object - the process of professional training of future teachers of Humanities at higher educational establishments; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested technology of training future teachers of Humanities to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities on the level of students' professional readiness to fulfill it; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to define the structural components of readiness of future teachers of Humanities to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities; the essence of students' project-based learning and cognitive activities as well as the essence of readiness of future teachers to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities are specified; the criteria and indices of the levels of future teachers' readiness to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning are singled out; forms and methods of training future teachers of Humanities to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities have acquired further study; results - the technology of training future teachers of Humanities to teaching high school students to carry out project-based learning and cognitive activities has been experimentally tested and is recommended for the implementation in the process of professional training of future teachers at higher educational establishments.
