Pavlov Y. Developing readiness to peacekeeping activity of officers of MIA of Ukraine in post-graduate education

The thesis is devoted to theoretical substantiation and experimentally checking of pedagogical conditions of developing readiness to peacekeeping activity of officers of MIA of Ukraine in post-graduate education. The concept of "service and combat activities in peacekeeping and security" and "developing officers' readiness to peacekeeping activity". The features of intercultural conflict that appears between officers in the process of performing service and combat tasks in international peacekeeping security are defined. The algorithm of determining the competencies required for the successful peacekeeping activity and conditions for their forming in higher educational institutions of the MIA of Ukraine is improved. The structural model of incenting officers to peacekeeping activity by means of vocational training and education according to which the third period of officers' professional development is offered to implement in postgraduate education is presented. The pedagogical conditions of developing readiness for peacekeeping activity of officers of MIA of Ukraine are determined and experimentally proved. The content-functional model of readiness for peacekeeping of officers of MIA of Ukraine was further developed. The criteria, indicators and corresponding levels of officers' readiness to peacekeeping activity were specified.
