Borys V. Justification of the infrastructure of health facilities at regional level

The object is an organization of inpatient medical care; the goal is to substantiate and develop the model of infrastructure of health institutions at the regional (inter-district) level; the methods of the systems approach and systems analysis, bibliography semantic, medical and statistical, sociological, economic analysis, conceptual modeling, expert assessments; the results - the feasibility of optimization of the structure of health care institutions that provide inpatient care taking into account the peculiarities of administrative areas, material and technical resources of medical institutions was justified for the first time in Ukraine; a comprehensive study of using the hospital beds in the inter-district level with the system approach was carried out and the reserves for its optimization were identified; the optimal performance of the structure and the number of beds by the type of medical care and its intensity were identified; the approaches to differentiation of health care institutions taking into account the intensity of care have got further development; the effectiveness of the establishment of regional hospital districts has been proven; the industry is medicine.
