Object - the emotional attitude of the students to educational-professional activities; objective - to reveal the system of cognitive, activity and emotional- motivational predictors of the emotional attitude to the educational and professional activities in HEI as well as to explore the specificity of their manifestation of the successful and underachieving students; methods - theoretical (comparative analysis and scientific literature generalization, systematization and classification of the theoretical data), empirical (observation, conversation, testing, developmental experiment), mathematical and statistical analysis methods; novelty - newly revealed the structural and dynamic features of the emotional attitude manifestation of the successful and underachieving students to the educational and professional activities, regression equations have been calculated which are designed for prediction of formation of positive and negative emotional attitude to learning process of the students with different progress; for the first time the structural-dynamic features of the manifestation of emotional attitude of the successful and underachieving students for teaching and professional activities have been revealed; calculated regression equations designed to predict the formation of positive and negative emotional attitude to learning for the students with different progress; defined means of the psychological support of the emotional optimization attitude of students to learn; contribution of cognitive, emotional and motivational predictors and activity in the formation and consolidation of the emotional reality system for training of the students updated, taking into account their level of progress; further developed the concept of optimal and suboptimal emotional relationship of the student for the educational-professional activities in higher education, the concept of integral and partial, the conscious and unwitting level of emotional attitude to the learning; results - correctional-development program designed for the emotional attitude to the learning optimization can be used to improve the efficiency of the educational process in higher education and the system for training the professional specialists in future; field of study - Psychology.
