Essay

Theoretical and empirical research of the professiographic analysis of servicemen of units of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) for protection of nuclear power plants (NPP) was presented. Empirically determined factors and main individual psychological characteristics that influence on effectiveness of service and combat activity of NGU soldiers. The psychogram of servicemen of units of the National Guard of Ukraine for protection of nuclear power plants, which defines the characteristics of professional activity, is developed. Factor analysis allowed to determine the four-factor structure of professional-important qualities (cognitive, emotional and volitional, motivational and value, communicative), which directly affect the effectiveness of service and combat activity.
