Essay

The scientific approaches to studying emotional intelligence were summarized and the main role of EI in the system of situational psychological readiness of the future air traffic controllers was described. The key conceptual and modern theories on studying situational psychological readiness were analyzed. The influence of emotional intelligence on situational psychological readiness of the future air traffic controllers was substantiated and statistically confirmed. The correlations between emotional intelligence and characteristics of individual differences of the future air traffic controllers were analyzed.
