The thesis presents the results of researching structural features of sibling symptom complex as a factor of neurotic states of the personality. The theoretical analysis of the interconnection of sibling's relationships and the neurotic states was made. The type of sibling's position forms a special complex of personality traits - sibling symptom complex, that was conceptualized by author. At the first stage of the study the pilot research of the sibling symptom complex as a factor of neurotic states was made. The brother-sister questionnaire was adapted to identify the characteristics of the brother-sister relationships. The operational scheme of sibling symptom complex as a factor of neurotic states of the personality was designed. The author gives a description of the complex of the psychological traits that depends on system level of sibling symptom complex. The effect of the structural features of sibling symptom complex on the level of neurotization and neurotic states was identified. Mention is also made of its neurosogenic and compensatory traits that depends on the structure of system traits of sibling symptom complex. They was statistically combined in six factors: "Functionality of sibling's relationships", "Expansiveness in interpersonal relationships", "Conformity", "Personal self-regulation", "Focus on yourself," "Emotional stability". The training program for the development of compensatory and psychological prevention of neurosogenic traits of siblings was developed and tested.
