The thesis is devoted to the research of the mechanisms of international legal regulation of the European Union in combating cross-border crime. The dissertation highlights features of the legal framework for combating the following cross-border crimes: terrorism, human trafficking, sexual exploitation of women and children, illicit drug trafficking, illicit arms trafficking, money laundering, corruption, counterfeiting of means of payment, computer crimes and organized crime in the EU. The author analyzes the legal means of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the field of combating the various cross-border crimes and the state of compliance of the national legislation with European standards in this area.
