Essay

The dissertation presents the look back analysis of forming of musical theoretical education system in the European culture area, there are extracted the milestones in development of Ukrainian system of musical academic training of music teacher. There are described the long-term trends in current practice of musical education especially the combination of ethnocultural tendency and polycultural orientation in musical education of youths at school age, musical creative developing of pupils, their consequent involvement into different forms of collective music making, application of state-of-the-art IT solutions as a means of individualization and extension of art individual and creative development during the course of musical educating. It is expanded the essence of the concept of "musical theoretical training" as well as the structure of musical academic training of future music teachers, the diagnostic method is defined in order to discover the levels of musical theoretical knowledge acquisition of future music teachers. The methodical model is presented for forming the musical theoretical competence by students as the whole didactical system of interlinking principles, pedagogical conditions, methods, organization forms used for research task solving, the experimental work is described. There are evaluated the test data their results have confirmed that the experimental methodology has ensured a higher efficiency by the musical theoretical training of future music teachers.
