The thesis deals with the issues formation of an artistic and imaginative perception appropriate for intending music teachers in the process of instrumental performance training. Based upon the theories about artistic and imaginative perception as a leading aspect of music performance, essential professional strength of a music teacher, the thesis outlines the essence of the concept "artistic and imaginative perception appropriate for intending music teachers" and its structural components. The thesis defines principles, pedagogical provisions for effective training of artistic and imaginative perception appropriate for intending music teachers in the process of instrumental performance as well as a criteria system of this phenomenon formation for students of music and pedagogical department. The thesis worked out, theoretically justified and experimentally proved the gradual methods for artistic and imaginative perception training appropriate for intending music teachers.
