Fadi A. International legal aspects of the providing regional security in the Middle East in the context of the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of theoretical and practical international legal aspects of providing regional security in the Middle East in the context of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict peaceful settlement. Special attention in the study is paid to the analysis of international legal principles of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict peaceful settlement, and to the place and importance of the UN and the League of Arab States in the process of peaceful settlement. The evolution and nature of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the ways of its comprehensive and just settlement are examined. The prior directions of foreign policy of Ukraine in the context of the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict are determined. It is proved the necessity of fundamental review and bringing in conformity with the latest realities the entire system of the Middle East peace settlement process worked out by the international community. It is substantiated the thesis that the "restart" of this process a special role shell be dedicated the UN Security Council. In addition, it is proved the advisability of a new resolution adopted by the Security Council, which will reflect the latest realities and tendencies of the Middle East peace process.
