Essay

Ukrainian musical folklore is an integral part of the spiritual life of people, their traditional culture. Historical changes of culture focus to the writing cause the adaptation of compositions of folk music to the new socio-cultural environment, one of which mechanisms becomes its staging. The transformation of musical genres on historical, aesthetic, semantic planes takes place specifically in conditions of the stage adaptation of folklore.Creativity of bandurysts always represented a wide spectrum of genre system of Ukrainian folk music - from epics (elegies, historical songs) to social and ritual samples. Processes of academics of the bandura art in the XX century, in particular establishing educational system of bandurysts, manufacture of technically and acoustically perfect instrument with wide opportunities to perform different genres of instrumental and vocal-instrumental compositions, led to the need for creating a new repertoire.The genre system of the Ukrainian folk music as the basis of composers and performance creativity in the bandura art is analyzed in the dissertation. Theoretical principles and practices of musical processing of folk music samples from the specific position of bandura repertoire are determined; the classification of processing is conducted by authors, types, genres.
