Ros Z. The Development of jazz-festival movement in the socio-cultural space extension in the period of Ukraine's independence (1991-2012).

This dissertation has made a complex research on the development of jazz festival movement in the period of Ukraine's independence (1991-2012), as a unique cultural and artistic phenomenon, which has become an integral part of socio-cultural extension of Ukraine in the late XX and early XI century. The notion of jazz festival movement has gained a further development and concretization. The analysis of the ways of spreading of jazz in Ukraine which showed itself not only as a kind of musical art, but also as a catalyst of social life and the definition of the features of its functioning, which appeared in Ukraine in the course of sufficiently long period of time, became the basis for stating the formation of the tradition of a systematic character which is defined by the presence of different forms of existence of jazz in Ukraine: public, informational, organizational, enlightening, propagandistic and educational.
