Essay

The thesis is an independent accomplished comprehensive academic research on international legal norms on women's labour rights protection and their implementation in the Arab States. The author analyzes the background of the origin and further development of the institution of international legal protection of women's rights and provides a general characterization of the international women's rights protection institute. Separately the role of international organizations in the development of international law on the protection of labor rights of women is investigated. The author finds the influence of prohibition of discrimination against women in labour relations, analyzes international law on the protection of motherhood and people with family responsibilities and explores international legal regulation of occupational safety of women. The features of the implementation of international legal obligations into national legislation are found on the example of the Republic of Iraq. The author studies implementation of the principle of non-discrimination of women in employment in the Arab States, the peculiarities of the implementation of the rules on occupational safety and motherhood in the Arab States and provides recommendations to reform labour legislation of Ukraine, based on the experience of implementing international law on the protection of women's labour rights in the Arab States.
